I wrote this around 2006 while living in Augusta, Maine. It was an attempt at writing some kind of progressive instrumental song. As usual, the music generally takes over and goes wherever it wants to. At the time, I was thinking of how rediculous the idea of God - all powerful deciding its best to plant a fetus inside some poor guys wife... Of course it's a bullshit story. I found the sample from the movie "Bad Boy Bubby" - which was a great/odd type of movie. I thought the samples fit the idea of the song perfectly,,,and with a bit of intentional humor. The song was originally called "The absurdity of the Jesus Fetus"....but felt that just "The Jesus Fetus" was absurd enough on it's own...
